Digital Ramlila
An immersive journey through the Ramayana — exploring courage, devotion, responsibility and the enduring triumph of righteousness.
Begin the JourneyMore than a story. A reflection on our choices.
Across India, Dussehra is celebrated through Ramlila performances, processions and diverse regional traditions. In many communities, the festival recalls Rama’s victory over Ravana; elsewhere Vijayadashami also honours Goddess Durga’s victory over Mahishasura. Our digital Ramlila offers a concise, respectful introduction to a much larger epic.
Journey through seven chapters
The Departure from Ayodhya
Rama accepts exile to honour his father’s word. Sita and Lakshmana accompany him, beginning a journey shaped by duty, love and sacrifice.
Why Dussehra still speaks to us
Duty and integrity. Rama’s decisions invite reflection on responsibility, especially when doing what one believes is right demands sacrifice.
Devotion and friendship. Hanuman and the allies who join Rama illustrate loyalty, collaboration and service in the face of seemingly impossible challenges.
The danger of pride. Ravana’s fall is often interpreted as a warning about arrogance and the misuse of power, even by those with exceptional knowledge or ability.
Hope and renewal. The festival encourages reflection on our own anger, greed, fear and ego — and the possibility of choosing differently.
